Crown molding, wainscoting, custom trim, stairs and built-ins: the details that make a home feel custom. Trim is all in the fractions. A tight miter, a coped inside corner, joints so clean you can't find the seam. We take our time on the finish. It's the whole reason people call AB6.
This couple had just moved in and brought us in to add custom trim throughout. Two rooms, two totally different looks, one goal: make the new house feel finished, and a little bigger.
On a feature wall they wanted something bold: a harlequin diamond pattern. That one's all in the layout. Every angle matched, every intersection tight, the whole grid balanced on the wall, or your eye catches it the second you walk in. Most of the job is measuring and marking before a single piece goes up. Once it's laid out right, it comes together fast. That wall was done in about a day, and she loved it.

In the dining room we ran classic picture-frame wainscoting, the framed-panel molding that instantly makes a room look built with intention.

"Edwin worked with my budget and I am so grateful!"
Sometimes the original is just too far gone to save. This staircase's old handrail and volute, the hand-carved scroll at the bottom, were past restoring, so we replaced them. The part that takes real know-how: we tracked down the same style volute and rail. Not some generic off-the-shelf replacement, but a match for the character of the house. New wood, warm honey-oak finish, and it looks like it's always belonged there.

"I had a specific vision for restoring my stairwell's base newel post, tapered balusters, volute, handrail, and banister to reflect a 1930s-style aesthetic rather than installing a generic metal banister, and they completely delivered. They even went out of their way to source the exact period-appropriate materials needed. What I appreciated most was their honesty—they actually recommended against some of my initial ideas because they weren't worth the effort or cost, proving they care more about doing the right thing and getting a high-quality result than just upselling."
This one looks simple. It wasn't. The new microwave sat several inches deeper than the old one and would have stuck out past the cabinets, so the cabinet had to be built forward to let it sit flush and clean.

"They modified my existing cabinetry to accommodate a new appliance, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The adjustments look like they were part of the original cabinet design seamless, clean, and professionally finished. It's not easy to alter existing custom cabinetry without it looking like an afterthought, but they exceeded my expectations."
This spot went from empty wall to floor-to-ceiling storage. A custom built-in, made to fit the room exactly: the kind of detail work that makes a house feel finished.

Picture-frame panels, harlequin and other patterns, laid out so the whole wall balances.
Tight miters, coped corners, joints you can't find.
Old millwork matched, not swapped for something generic.
Made to fit, and matched to what's already in the house.
"His attention to detail on our white oak custom made railings was incredible. Everything was finished on schedule and looks amazing."
That's most of the job. On one kitchen the cabinets had a deep, high-sheen finish you can't buy anymore, so any new piece of trim would have stood out. Instead of replacing anything, we reused the original trim, reconditioned it and turned it in a new direction. It reads like the cabinet was always built that way.

Yes. When the original is too far gone to save, we track down the same style of volute and rail, not a generic off-the-shelf replacement, so the new one looks like it's always belonged there.
